Who doesn't love Doritos? They really are like one of the best chip snacks I can think of and come in so many varieties and are a staple in sports and gaming related hobbies. So when I got a whole case of these new Doritos Fiery Fusion tortilla chips with sizzlin' cayenne and cheese I thought I died and went to heaven.
Funny story though, my mom gave me this case of these fiery fusion Doritos as she got them from our local food bank and was going to give them away to the children in town. However, she and a few other of her workers tried them first and deemed them too spicy for kids and thus gave me a whole case of them to get rid of them. Now I do love spicy foods and on more than one occasion I have done a hot pepper challenge but for a snack food....I'd have to agree with my mom, these are way too hot for me.
The first time I tried them I thought, "How bad could they be?", so I started eating them quite quickly. Then it hit me...the fiery fusion itself and my mouth was on fire! They were so hot they literally upset my stomach. I guess I should have taken that as a warning not to eat any more but I continued to eat them and afterwards ate a few more bags. Eventually I had had enough and gave the rest of the case of my Doritos Fiery Fusion chips to some friends who had similar experiences. For you healthy food snack snackers, luckily for you Doritos Fiery Fusion has 0 trans fat and is gluten free

Haven't tried these yet but I love all the different flavors Doritos has to offer. The cool ranch has always been my favorite but I really like spicy/hot stuff so I'll give this a try next time I go to the store.
